Every company has defined corporate and most of them have leadership values, too, including print outs, carved in aluminium behind reception or in meeting rooms. But as every person is different, every persons history, experience, learnings, personal values are different, the question needs to be answered ‚what is each leaders individual interpretation of each value‘. Only if this is done, we can achieve a common understanding of

  • What do we really mean by that
  • What does it mean to me, me reflections and my actions
  • Based on those values, what can I expect from my peers, leaders and teams
  • and based on those values, what can my peers, leader and teams expect from me

We enable leadership teams and leaders

  • to define generic and actionable leadership principles based on each leadership value
  • to describe a few basic key characteristics that our leaders have to have (I am)
  • to reflect several habits and actions that leaders have to face and focus on their daily business (I do)
  • to understand and express what they need from the organization and their leaders to fulfil their leadership role and what to give to their leaders? (You)

Only if these questions are discussed and answered within leadership teams and guiding leadership principles are defined based on real life use cases a common leadership culture will be established in daily actions which than again reflect the corporate brand and leadership values.
